Q: How much does HiringBoss cost?


A: HiringBoss has been designed to be affordable for EVERY business. We believe that great recruitment software should be accessible for everyone, everywhere.The 3 HiringBoss plans (Gold, Platinum and Black) offer a range of different features at price points that are tailored to your business size and needs. Q: Are there any setup costs, implementation costs or any other “hidden” costs?


A: The only cost to use HiringBoss is the monthly subscription price of your chosen plan. Should you require assistance in migrating bulk data from an existing candidate database, we charge a fee based on the size and complexity of the data/migration. If you would like to have an in-depth orientation of the HiringBoss advanced settings, then additional fees may also apply. Of course, these fees would be discussed with you prior to account activation.
 There are no “hidden” extra costs with HiringBoss. For the majority of our clients, they simply plug and play- with zero implementation or maintenance costs.Contact us for details.here

Q: How do I sign-up?


A: Simply register your interest by filling out our contact form and a HiringBoss specialist will contact you shortly to get you started.

Q: Why am I asked to provide my telephone number when I sign-up?


A: We take security extremely seriously at HiringBoss and we may give new customers a call to verify their identity and make sure that their ties to a company are legitimate.
Please note that we will never pass on your personal or business details or any other contact details to any 3rd parties unless you specifically ask us to do so.

Q: How can I pay?


A: You can sign-up and pay securely on-line for your HiringBoss account here. We accept Paypal payments for easy on-line payment. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer or paper cheque, that’s fine too.

Q: Do I pay for new versions of the system or feature enhancements?


A: Any new features and enhancements are included in your monthly fee (please note, this does not apply to any individual customization requests you might have) Hiringboss is constantly looking to improve our products and overall user experience, and this is all included in the price. 

Q: How quickly can I be up and running with HiringBoss?


A: After sign-up, you can start using HiringBoss almost straight away. Just opt for the simple set-up option which follows the proven HiringBoss best-practice settings and start using HiringBoss within minutes. For many companies, this solution works well.
However, if you choose to customize the HiringBoss settings to suit your own business, the set-up process will take a little longer. You will be asked to prioritize what matters most to your business: is it the speed of hire, cost of hire or the quality of choice in candidates?
Remember: HiringBoss is as configurable as you make it: you can choose the simple, best-in-class settings, or adjust the settings as much as you like. 

Compliance

Q: I need to maintain EEO/OFCCP compliance for my company’s recruiting function. Does HiringBoss collect and report this data?

A: Yes. HiringBoss Platinum and Black plans offer fundamental and advanced EEO/OFCCP compliance capture and reporting.

  • Align your internal compliance process to EEO/OFCCP compliance standards and capture data such as gender, age, sex and race.
  • To activate compliance settings, simply flick the EEO/OFCCP switch on/off in your account 'Preferences'.
  • HiringBoss will then automatically ask each applicant to volunteer their EEO data.
  • Automatically record reasons why your colleagues have chosen not to hire unsuccessful applicants
  • Real-time analysis of compliance data and on-demand reports.
  • Discretion settings mean that compliance data is store separately to the candidate’s record...and recruiters and hiring managers are uanble to view it.

Q: The country I work in observes different compliance standards to the EEO/OFCCP regulations. This function is not relevant to my business- can I switch this function off?

A: Yes. You have the option to turn the compliance function on or off in your HiringBoss account 'Preferences'.

Precision Parsing

Q: Do you offer resumé parsing?

A: Yes. We offer multi-lingual resumé parsing for the HiringBoss Platinum and Black plans. 

Q: How about parsing duplicate resume’s in the system? Does HiringBoss recognize duplicates?

A: HiringBoss will instantly alert you to any possible duplicates, allowing you to keep your candidate database clean and duplicate-free.

Q: Can I import resumés from my computer and existing company database? How about about from my current ATS?

A: Sure. For resumés in Word or PDF format, use the HiringBoss resumé inhaler to bulk parse them into the system yourself. If the data is in a different format (CVS or Excel for example) -or you prefer for us to take care of this for you- we are happy to do so. Additional fees may aply, depending on the quantity of import data.

Customize

Q: Will I be able to customize HiringBoss to suit my specific hiring needs?

A: Yes. HiringBoss is highly configurable and provides a huge amount of flexibility in the types of hiring processes it can support. You can create custom reports, build your own interview templates, configure your own scoring metrics, set-up your own email templates..... and much, much more.

Q. Can I take my data with me if I decide to close my HiringBoss account?

Q: My business is small right now...but we have big plans. Will HiringBoss be able to grow with me?


A: Absolutely. HiringBoss has been designed so that we can grown or contract with your business. Our flexible pricing plans mean that switching plans is easy.

Security and Privacy

Q: Does my data go into any type of public repository or do you use my data in any way?

A: No, absolutely not. We don’t use your data in any way. We don’t maintain any public or proprietary candidate databases or sell account data to any third-parties. Each account owns their data and it’s their exclusive property. You can find out more by reading our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Q: Do you treat my candidate data as confidential?

A: Yes. We treat each client’s candidate database as 100% confidential. We will only access your data in response to a request for support and only with your permission.
Anybody on our staff who has access to customer candidate data is required to sign a Confidentiality Statement specifying that they adhere to our strict confidentiality guidelines for client data. Our Privacy Policy gives further details on this, please view it here.

Q: How do I get support? What if I get stuck?


A: Firstly, it’s pretty difficult to get stuck using HiringBoss. The system is so intuitive that you will find it easy to use from day 1.
Our clients love our regular Webinars which help them to optimize HiringBoss for their businesses: these are available to all users as a complimentary service.

Q: What are Webinars?


A: We invite all HiringBoss users to join our regular webinar events. These are 20-30 minute sessions in which we spotlight different aspects of the system and help you get the most out of your HiringBoss.
Our webinars are a great way for us to talk to you about new features, plus troubleshoot any common questions that you may have. Webinars are complimentary to all HiringBoss users and they are generally held twice weekly. If you can’t log-on for the live Webinar, we offer podcasted versions for your reference too.

Multi-Lingual

Q: What languages is HiringBoss available in?

A: HiringBoss is currently available in Japanese and English. Vietnamese and Mandarin are to be released in the final quarter of 2011. HiringBoss is designed to handle Japanese characters of hiragana, katakana and kanji in Unicode double-byte characters. This is in addition to the romanised alphabet.

PS: One of the biggest issues with regular Western ATS’s is that they do not take the Asian user into consideration. HiringBoss is the only ATS which has been designed specifically with Asian market in mind. Please do not underestimate the importance of user adoption in Asia…most Western ATS systems are poorly adopted by the local user, if at all.

Q: Sometimes I need to work in Japanese, at other times I need to work in English. How does the language switch work?

A: Just use the language switch at the top right of the screen to flip between your chosen languages.

Q: What kind of browser do I need to use HiringBoss?

A: HiringBoss is a web-based application and has been tested for compatability with the following major commercial web browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Windows Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Safari.

 

Q: What does ‘Web-based application’ actually mean?

A: Being web-based means that you access your account via the Internet, not from the hard drive of your own computer.

In our case, we have chosen Amazon, a globally respected organization who guarantee maximum server up-time and security.

Cloud computing is the perfect match for a modern Saas application such as HiringBoss. In fact, they share several affinities- a commitment to flexibility, cost-efficiency and reliability to name a few. The benefits of going on the cloud are multiple.
